My husband and I are retired, so you would think we’d be living the good life. However, I am the consumate, driven, have to work ALL the time kinda gal. I’ve had a job since I was 13. So, if I’m not doing something for the ‘job’, I have to be working on a project for my home or soul every waking hour. In spite of this, I have not felt like my life is going anywhere. Basically, I’m putting in time with no specific goals or ambitions other than task goals like knitting 10 pairs of socks each year. So, as many of you have done (including my daughter, Anna), I’ve turned to writing a blog.
Winter of my Life
Inspiration for this blog comes from the lyrics in a song that has special meaning for our family. It's called 'In Love for Now'. I don't like the title because it infers temporary feelings but the line that spoke to me follows,
I want to breath the air that you breath and I want to be there when your winter comes and I want to feel the touch of your hand next to mine....
My hope is that you find this blog, read a little, and smile a little when the subject touches your life.
